One of the problems encountered by students on completion of their studies in fashion design is that of finding reasonably priced working space as well as equipment. Mzansi Designers Institute has established facilities to accommodate the envisaged Fashion Houses. Furthermore more this will give the designers access to other services such a Sample Studio as well as the CMT Production Network. Mzansi designers will also assist the designers to market their products both locally and internationally. 

The following are the standard service essential that are deemed as essential to the development of the designers and will form part of the facilities that will be offered:

1. Fully equipped incubator with industrial equipment and cutting tables.
2. Sample studio with specialist equipment and use of sample hand.
3. National & International trend information.
4. Reception services with fax and computer.
5. Showroom Facilities.
6. Comprehensive Venture Creation and Business Management Training.
7. Information and Administrative assistance to participate in competitions and fashion shows.
8. Assistance in obtaining finance (working capital).
9. Information Workshops on relevant issues.
10. Assistance with marketing of products.
11. Mentoring.
12. Access to CMT Network.
13. Access to Quality Productivity and Quality Improvement Programmes.
14. Members will have access to the services of sample hands(one per group).
15. Members will use a rotation system to elect representatives who will interface with the management team of the Institute on a regular basis.
